Eventually, as my stitching progresses, I suddenly feel the urge to add the stitchy facial features. First the eyes and next the mouth. I have never, ever stitched the facial features first on any embroidery pattern. Have y’all?

When I do cross-stitching, not embroidery, I always do my least favorite part to my favorite parts. I like to end on a high point.
