Something Missing by Matthew Dicks — If you can get over the fact that the main character is a thief (although not your typical kind), you are in for a crazy, quirky, page-turning story! Since I liked it so much I bought the author’s other book, Unexpectedly, Milo, and I am not enjoying it at all. I thought I would like it since Milo is all quirky and OCD, but I’m 70 pages in, and I’m tired of reading the f-word too many times. There are very few instances where I will tolerate (and maybe even be okay with) profanity in “literature” so straight back to BN this book will go. Big disappointment since Something Missing was such a great story, albeit with a “bad guy” main character but free of profanity.
