Well, admittedly, I’ve been backsliding a bit on my hand washing. I do wash at appropriate times I’m thankful to say. I do not, for example, get up from reading a book and just randomly go wash my hands. I’m washing three times in a row again and gulp, sometimes more, but not too much more otherwise I start to freak out that I’m washing too much and wonder what is wrong with me?!. 3x just feels so much more cleaner than 1x, you know? But normal people just rinse and soap up once, so I must renew my efforts into being normal and try to break this odd habit. I have been making strides being normal in other areas, especially in the kitchen. It’s hard but I do believe it is true that if hubby is carefully (he is always careful) washing chicken in the kitchen sink that raw chicken germs are not flying all over the kitchen “contaminating” everything a certain distance from the sink. Not everything needs to hosed down with lysol spray afterwards. Whew, deep breath, it is a common sense fact but sometimes hard to believe.
