I received my swap package from lovestitches today! I was surprised the package only took a week to arrive since it was traveling all the way from New Zealand! I sent Steph this: a zebra FQ, kitty aunt martha pattern, and some kooky kitty fabric. In return, Steph sent me 4 New Zealand postcards, a New Zealand magent, and a little squeaker that I can put inside a handmade squeaky toy that someday I’ll make for Benjamin. Thank you Steph!
Here is a picture of my most favorite postcard Steph sent! Isn’t the lamb adorable?!

That dressed sheep is hilarious ! Very nice set of postcards !
Yes, that lamb is TOTALLY adorable! All those postcards are pretty — the one of the bird is my favorite.
Steph wrote a note on the back of bird one to say that this bird is called a maori and that there is a legend behind its appearance. the white chin tuft is a sign of shame but she didn’t know what the bird did to deserve it. it’s on my google to do list today to find out
NZ is high on my must-visit list—I have such a weird fascination for island nations. Coincidentally, I’m about to start production on our new travel guide to NZ. Woo!
