I picked up In the Night Garden from my stack of unread books. I’m weird in that I usually stick my receipts in my books and I bought this way back in July 2007. I haven’t read Arabian Nights (and don’t know if there is just THE one Arabian Nights, or if there are other books by other authors called Arabian Nights as well that have different stories in them), but most reviewers have said In the Night Garden is told in that same story-telling manner; stories weaving in and out of each other. I’ve read the first couple chapters and so far, so good.
